hey boy, hey girl !

My first ever concert here in Italy!! It was AWESOME!!!
I used to go to rock concerts back home when i was younger also because its the kind of music that really touches and inpires me! And so when my friend told me that it's gonna be a dance concert, i was thinking like, "i can't dance without alcohol!" that's why the first thing that i asked her was "do they sell drinks inside?" lol!
So here it is the FLIPPAUT concert in Milan featuring The Chemical Brothers! Over 20,000 people jumping, fist pumping and dancing!! We had a blast that we got back home at 4 in the morning! the next day my feet were killing me! It didn't matter!

next stop, Venice!

Venice has been known as the "La Dominante", "Serenissima", "Queen of the Adriatic", "City of Water","City of Masks", "City of Bridges", "The Floating City", and "City of Canals"! Venice, with its lagoon, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is indeed one of the most beautiful city I've ever seen.

The word "ghetto" used in many languages is derived from the Venetian Ghetto an area where the jewish were compelled to live

The Grand Canal ..to name a few! but actually the city itself is a living museum!!

our weekend at the beach

In Italy it's a must to go to the beach in the summer! You might think I'm exaggerating..but actually it's partly true! you see hot sunny days are numbered..and there are almost only three months of hot and sunny weather before the nights get longer and the days shorter and then comes the cold and dark days of winter! for the meantime it's time for fun fun fun under the Italian sun!! here are some photos last weekend in Rimini beach Italy!!

European city series , Pisa

Once a week i'll try to post one european city that i've visited. So today it's about Pisa.

Pisa is a city in Tuscany Italy known worldwide for its Leaning Tower. Many people believed that if it weren't leaning, it wouldn't have been famous, but in my opinion the Leaning tower of Pisa leaning or straight is an amazing building and an architectural masterpiece.

it's summer time!

it's officially summer time and true to its word, it was definitely hot today!! although it's still incomparable to the hot and sticky summer days in the Philippines!! and so just like every summer, here is my "summer to do list" this year!!
1. spring clean our house ( i know it's late , but what the heck, i still have to do it!)
2. hit the summer sale!
3. hang out more with friends!
4. bar-b-q with family
5. get my belly-button pierced ( it was supposed to be last year but i chickened out)
6. take advantage of the aperitivo season!
7. to have a bikini bod ! LOL!
8. and.... bum around at the beach with my boys!

a ZOOM weekend!!

We work alot during the week up to a point where my son needs to stay overnight with his nonni (grandparents) . I feel really guilty and sad about it and i miss him so much ! That's why every weekend we try our best to spend as much time as we can with Matthew! This week we went to Zoom for the second time,it's about 40 min. away from the city. its a natural park with some wild animals from all over the world.It also has a fake beach, (LOL)a huge park where you can have picnics and a super cool playground. it was packed yesterday!! anyway, we were with our friends and Matt's bff Edo:)we had so much fun!

Today was the official launching of the Blackberry Playbook in Italy! My husband is a "blackberista" the term used in Italy for someone who is a blackberry fanatic and so he already got it a week ago!! hahaha!! I'm quite sure he's one of the first ones!! LOL!

Turin ...the city where I live

Turin or Torino in Italian is the third largest in Italy. Turin is the home of the Shroud of Turin, the Juventus football team and FIAT. My husband is a pure Torinese ( he grew up in Turin ) , infact he used to skate the streets of Turin when he was a kid. And so after almost three years of living in China, we decided to move to his country. It has been almost four years!! now we have a home , new jobs , we met new friends and we have our own little Matthew. Life is good and we can't complain!! but we are still open to moving abroad if the right oppurtunity comes. For now we are taking it easy..and enjoying everyday adventures! here are some pictures of Turin and its symbol, the Mole Antonelliana:)

my bellydancing

Dancing was my first love!! i've been dancing for as long as i can remember. i started bellydancing 3 years ago with my friend Satu. we took up this oriental bellydancing in an attempt to find our femininity. our teacher a very good friend Amada. Here are some photos of my bellydancing!

monday morning shopping!!

what's the best way to start the week and to break monotonous mondays? go shoe shopping!! after all a girl can never have one too many shoes. so here's my latest purchase ...silver peeptoes!! i'm inlove with them ..it's an addition to my ever growing solemates! i don't know where and when to wear them yet but i'm pretty sure i'll come up with something!
